For Christ
The following embodies the beliefs and ideals of the Couples for Christ (CFC) as a movement, from which flow its Christian attitudes, values, and behavior, as well as its programs, teachings and approaches to Christian renewal within the context of family relationships.
Vatican Recognition
In 2000, the Vatican granted Couples for Christ ad experimentum recognition as a private international association of the faithful, and after evaluation, the Pontifical Council of the Laity conferred permanent and definitive recognition on April 25, 2005. The Vatican Decree can be found here.

-
WE BELIEVE
Marriage Is as an indissoluble institution, as taught by our Lord Jesus Christ (Mt 19:6).
God created marriage primarily for love between a man and a woman, and for the procreation and proper rearing of children.
-
Man and wife have equal personal worth and dignity.
God ordained order in the family by giving the man the role of head of the family and the woman the role of as helpmate and support, expressesing their complementarity.
-
Parents have the inalienable and irreplaceable right and responsibility to educate their children.
Children need to be formed in essential human and Christian values in order to become responsible and mature members of society.
-
The family shares in the life and mission of the Church by living out the Gospel message through prayers, evangelization and service to others.
We uphold and defend the rights of the family as proclaimed in Familiaris Consortio (Pope John Paul II, 1981).
-
Christian family renewal is best achieved by inviting Jesus to be the Lord of our homes and by allowing the power of the Holy Spirit to lead our family lives.
We fully use the charismatic gifts given to us to support and strengthen family life.
